Last week Luke started kindergarten! He wears his new uniform clothes everyday and has an amazing Captain America Backpack. The first picture is of him reuniting with some of his preschool buds in his new school's playground. He is lucky to have lots of familiar faces at his new big school. His new teacher is super kind and warm and Luke is very excited to be a kindergarten student.
Welcome Friends and Family
I have definitely been a little behind. Busy Busy summer! Hope you all are well.

First Day of School

The Fair and Our Own Little Harvest
The other pictures are from our mini-harvest at our house. Our first attempt at dahlias was a total success and we have been enjoying food from the garden ever since we got back.
SUNNY SEATTLE!!!
Here are some pictures from our late-summer adventures. Luke with his best bud Eli and then some "beach" (yes Florida folks, this is what our beaches look like:)) pictures from our adventures at Saint Edward state park and Rattle Snake Lake.
We are trying our best to soak up all of this amazing sunny weather before the Indian Summer ends and the Northwest fall sets in. Love from our clan and we hope everyone is doing well!

MAY!!!
T-ball continues and Luke is still loving it!!! His little team has learned so much about the game and they have gotten pretty tight. Luke will play in 2 more games this season.
We are of course taking on some more home projects and this time Luke even helped out a bit. For now we are desperately waiting for more than 1 consecutive day of sun:)

Go Black Pelicans!!!
Little league has begun and Luke is psyched!! He plays for the New Orleans Black Pelicans in the Seattle Central league. As we suspected he might be, Luke is an absolute natural and LOVES being a part of a team.
His first game was super fun and Erica and I are also enjoying our new role as "little league moms".

Luke's 5th Bday Bash
It was admittedly ambitious of us to host 4 little ones for about 20 hours but it was great and Luke had the time of his life!!
Luke is already very excited about being 5 years old. He thinks it is far superior to being only 4. One of the major perks of Luke's 5 year oldness is that he gets to start t-ball. His team name is the "New Orleans Black Pelicans" and practice starts on tuesday. Luke is pumped!!
I promise to deliver a much more timely update with t-ball pictures and stories.
