Yesterday we went to the Washington State Fair in Puyallap. It was a perfectly warm day and the fair was wonderful. We saw TONS of animals, interesting folks, and kids Luke's age ride sheep for sport (he of course wants to try this next time). We ate corn dogs, ribs and elephant ears and to top it off Luke went on the big Ferris Wheel for the first time! Needless to say it was a big day and we all loved it.The other pictures are from our mini-harvest at our house. Our first attempt at dahlias was a total success and we have been enjoying food from the garden ever since we got back.
